This week was so informative! A person asked why you meet twice a week for two and a half hours every other week - that is a long time to ask teenagers to sit still. We responded that if it takes 10,000 hours for a person to become proficient at something, then we must; it's crucial we meet because each time we meet, we add to each young man’s required 10k hours to become proficient in becoming the best version of themselves.
This week was our last session on being a self-aware leader. Each young man was challenged and inspired to look at themselves and see where they could improve. The biggest takeaway from this series was that Superman is not coming, no large amount of money will be deposited into their accounts, and success does not just happen! You have to create the man you want to become. Which comes through being intentional and consisten in doing the work! 👑
