Dear YMG Family,
It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing of Mendrel Johnson, who tragically lost his life to gun violence. Our hearts go out to his family and friends during this incredibly difficult time.
Mendrel, better known as MJ, was a competitive, strong-willed young man who joined YMG in middle school. As a member, MJ participated in community service, attended Zoom meetings, and went on field trips with us. He will truly be missed and always remembered as a YMG member.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to all who knew and loved him.
Mendel's legacy will forever be a part of our YMG family!!
